PROPERTIES
INTERNAL USE: Antiseptic, antibacterial, antirheumatic, antigout, depurative, blood fluidizing, antacid, promotes hepatic secretions, carminative, tonic for nervous and cardiac system, hemostatic, analgesic, etc.
EXTERNAL USE: Antiseptic, healing, astringent, moisturizer and clarifies the skin.
INDICATIONS
INTERNAL USE: Diverse infections (lung, intestinal, etc.). Rheumatism, arthritis, gout, hyperuricemia, arthritis. Gastric disorders, hepatobiliary disorders. Arteriosclerosis, varicose veins, hypertension. Asthenia. Headaches.
EXTERNAL USE: Infected wounds, skin eruptions, mouth infections, sinusitis, sore throat, mild hemorrhages. Prevention of wrinkles, oily skin and hair, sunspots of the skin, brittle nails.
DOSAGE AND INSTRUCTIONS
INTERNAL USE: 5-10 drops, 2-3 times a day, in a teaspoon of honey, a brown sugar cube or an infusion.
EXTERNAL USE: Dissolve in hot water and make mouthwash or gargle (2 drops of essence in 1 cup of water). Apply compresses with the essence diluted or directly onto the wounds, wrinkles, skin, etc. Add the essence to vaporizers or perform direct inhalation or baths.
COUNTERINDICATIONS
Not recommended in case of allergy or hypersensitivity to essential oil or to any of its components.
Not recommended during pregnancy, lactation, or in children under six years, and in patients with epilepsy, Parkinson's or other neurological diseases.
REMARKS
It can cause photosensitivity (skin overreaction to the exposure of sunlight or ultraviolet light, which manifests rapidly with burns).
