The flavor is distinguished by fruity aromas complemented by a subtle note of bitterness, transitioning into a spicy finish. Eliama Daily Value Premium is used by chefs leading restaurants not only in Greece but also worldwide.
Eliama contains over 200 different chemical compounds, including sterols, carotenoids, triterpene alcohols, and phenolic compounds. Oleuropein, oleacein, hydroxytyrosol - the main phenolic compounds act as direct free radical reducers.
The richness of minerals such as phosphorus, potassium, vitamin D, and provitamin A has antiatherosclerotic and protective effects on the nervous system. A confirmed tocopherols content of 336.7 mg/kg delays the aging process, neutralizes free radicals, and has an invaluable effect on fetal development in the womb.
